If you see a mountain lion charging you like that, she will almost always be protecting Cubs. It is โFENDING OFFโ, not an ATTACK! Do not shoot a cat for this behavior, simply keep retreating! If the Lion wanted to catch up to you, it would not take long. ALWAYS: Keep one eye on the Cat and the other on your footing. She will veer off when she feels you are a safe distance, or, sheโs too far from the cubs.

A cousin who lived in Northern Wisconsin out, searching for mushrooms, and a big bear came upon her and it stood up on its hind legs and was walking towards her. She put her hands in the air move them around and screamed at the top of her lungs, and the bear ran away and she was just a 5โ1โ woman.
