It was the same for Samsung devices. I agree that 16 pro max is not worth upgrade at all but as S23 ultra user i got all s24 ultra features and samsung didnt even made a button or anything else so if we can agree this year was only AI upgrade which isnt worth of upgrading no matter of brand.

For low budget and mid range tho. The s curve is still growing. Components are getting cheaper so you could get premium features on a budget

And what were the upgrades in the S24 Ultra?
A lower grade 2 Titanium frame, back to flat screen, down to a 5X telephoto cam and muted color options.
So basically, everything to match the iPhone.
