I have an LED/infrared device that I spent about $3,000 on and used daily, but I didn't see any improvement. I stopped using it after speaking with a cosmetic doctor who said it didn't make much difference. I believe that salon LED devices are better than handheld ones. The salon devices are also not battery-operated, which allows you to use them on other areas of the body. In contrast, handheld devices only last about 20 minutes and take 3 hours to recharge.
