I barely use it and often forget i can quick launch camera with it. Iām looking forward to the half-press to focus update. That will come in handy.

Having the ability to pause a video recording is awesome, but there shouldāve been more focus on copying all the software features apps make with social media instead of launching a camera control button. Like the ability to flip the cameras during a recording. Something that simple wouldāve helped so many content creators.

Iād really love to use a light press as a shutter instead of clicking the button. Right now, Iām using a case, and the cutout makes the camera shake whenever I press the button, leading to less-than-perfect shots. Having more control over the light press as an additional camera feature would be amazingāmaybe even using a light press hold for other functions. For me, it would genuinely help improve my experience. In horizontal mode, I already use the camera control no issues , but more customization for the light press would be great. Also, I donāt like holding the camera control to capture video.

Yeah it seemed really compelling, but after trying it out in the Apple Store, it made me just wanna keep my <1year old iPhone 15 Plus and just use that.

Same thing with the Dynamic Island and Action Button. I find them just gimmicky & no actual use and I just find myself questioning the upgrade, if you can even call it an upgrade. š For iPhone 13 Pro users, donāt make the same mistake as me! Your phone is still as good!!

I use a holder in my car, button sucks in that use. I use an AI tripod that needs to grip the same area there, so it sucks in that usage. I keep it disabled an am disappointed with it.

Every reviewer and user should start acknowledging how insanely shitty this button and feature is. Apple has run out of ideas and is just fooling the already iphone maniac fools out there. The useless feature ever in an iPhone.

Frankly I was thinking the exact same thing the other day. It doesnāt feel natural enough right now, and itās lacking some tactility during taking a picture. The halfway press still needs effort compared how you would do it on a DSLR
