Hi Jonathan, I think the expression starts with "If the wheel ain't broken...".it really is rubbish. What were they thinking?

I've found myself flipping back, but ultimately persevering with it and now I love it. I large part thanks to some of your videos on To Do, Planner, Outlook & Loop.
Thank you for your help!

Disaster on a Coca Cola scale, indeed. Turned the switch on the Desktop version, and found myself switching it back faster than the speed the of light. No way to add additional business calendar, and all other nifty functions from the Desktopmaccount were available. The same for the Web version of Word: opened a file made with the Desktop version and the Web version just screwed it up. How Microsoft? How?…

That is spot on. The New Coke! New Outlook is stupid. The things that people actually use like dragging and dropping attachments is gone. Who thought that was a good idea?

I have the desktop version running for a while and it's great, lots of productivity and mixed with your tips on MS products is pure gold! Thanks Sir

Thought the same until watched your tips. Seems OK but still missing sort by... option. Option of putting emails to tasks, calendar is great. Archiving brilliant but didn't even think about it before your video!

I tried it about 3 times and switched back in frustration. I watched a video of how to customise it, and now I really like the new Outlook. Been with the new version for over 2 months now.

As an IT admin I switched to new outlook instantly . This game me time to understand the differences and new features before mass adoption. Now I can comfortably use the new version and assist others

I find it superior to the existing desktop app in almost every way. Particularly search behavior across huge mailboxes.

Buggy mess. Outlook needs an update but a nerfed version is not the answer. Also, it should have been made clearer that it replaces both Mail and Outlook.I had my personal email account in Mail and work stuff (loads of clients as profiles) in Outlook. New Outlook tried to smush my personal accounts into a work client's profile without asking for confirmation about which profile to use. Went back to the old Outlook, mostly so I can keep my work and home emails separate but also because I just don't trust the new one with my emails.

I tried it today and immediately saw it's benefits. I'm switching to it permanently. Maybe it's a bit different for me as I use OWA routinely - almost as much as the desktop version. Anyway the drag and drop features along with more robust integration with 365 did it for.

It sucks because there is no quick bar, no custom ribbon, plugins dont work how they used to, even my Exclaimer mail signature wont work in the new Outlook. I have the old one on but a separate install of the new one only so I can test out Copilot. Bottom line, it stinks!

I liked it until Microsoft stopped my business basic account from using it. I and many others online have the same problem and had to rollback to the old Outlook too. Personal accounts can use it but paying business accounts can't. 🤷🏾‍

I like the new outlook

It's basically a PWA for OWA. So many problems. It's basically unusable until they get plugins working for it.

I love the new outlook, but I have been using it for awhile and now when I go back to the old one it feels so slow. But if you prefer desktop style apps you might not like it as much.

It's not as user friendly as the old version. I hate how it won't capitalise the I in a sentence, I don't like how you can't double click on a pdf attachment and it opens Adobe to view it full size. I do like the link to to do though

For home use, it is brilliant, but for corporate use, a DISASTER!!! Can't do shared folders or contacts. Outlook was the King of Email Clients, but now it is becoming the Court Jester!

For me it is a barely functioning, bug riddled mess with less features than mail. The only benefit I see is that it has a nicer appearance. It's like Microsoft fired their programmers and hired artists instead.
