the secret to making life easy, fun, care-free, etc? CHOOSING to make it those things! ✨

it is your responsibility to live your life the way you desire, and if something no longer benefits you, you must pivot. what a sad life it must be to not live it the way you want, and to the fullest?

🤔 am i saying making life easy is… well, easy? no. am i saying being happy all the time is easy? definitely not.

what i am saying, however, is you always have a choice in how you perceive things, and it’s through that perception you can live life positively or negatively. you have to make the conscious decision to see things the way and behave the way you want; this is when life becomes a mirror and acts accordingly.

and before you come at me with me what about trauma survivors, unhoused people, etc. i have my own trauma, and it’s through that exact trauma that i choose to shift my mindset to one that is full of joy.

🙅🏻‍♀️ and no, i’m not advocating for toxic positivity, because i do believe in shitty things happening and feeling those emotions; we’re humans. but when you are able to make a choice, i hope you make the one that will help you get to the future you desire.
