Apparently this was might have been to the Gloam-Eyed Queen, but that idea may have been scrapped. I think its internal name is “Gloam Knight” but that’s like the only reference to the Gloam-Eyed Queen in the DLC.

Fun fact: The word "Putrescent" is another word for putrescine, which is a chemical which is supposed to smell like death, which is great for it's lore as a knight of death.

Miquella was a lot like his mother, id go as far to say Miquella was the most like Marika out of all his siblings except maybe Ranni. And just like Marika, Miquella abandoned the thing they were the most ashamed of deep underground where they hoped no one would ever find it.
