Not going to lie, i was there in Jan 2023 and there is a serious WOW factor when you come out of the food area and the mount is right in front of you..... To think that God himself will stand on his own two feet there someday is just wild.

Walking down that Palm Sunday path is an experience not to be forgotten. Iโve done it twice. Jesus will return one more time. It wonโt be a calm or peaceful event. Read all about it In Zechariah 14. I advise everyone to prepare for it.

Why Mount Olives is important:
Jesus prayed on the Mount of Olives on the day before the crucifixion โ in the Garden of Gethsemane. It was there that an angel comforted Him. During Jesus' life, as He ministered to the multitudes, He would often retreat to pray on the Mount as well (Luke 21:37, Luke 22:39).
For those of us who believe in Jesus, we will return with Him at His Second Coming when โHis feet will stand on the Mount of Olivesโ (Zech. 14:4; Rev. 19:14).
