Same dynamic in my family. Mom was the one most likely to beat you but she still always used the “wait until you Dad gets home” line. Haha. My Dad punished me maybe twice my entire childhood. Punishment from Mom was almost daily. Haha.

My dad was awesome definitely 100% scared of him only because he was very successful. He tried really hard. My mom was the one that would just whack out everything in my dad kept things together as much as he could and he was gone three weeks out of the month I love him so much for the way cheering his kids. We deserve everything we got I’m 60 years old now so I know what he’s talking about but he may be of the exaggerating going on here
