Thank you for your valuable information everytime. We are from a remote west coast community in Cape York. We have decided the a Prado 150 diesel or a decenr petrol is our next purchase. It will be used mainly for touring 2000kms return trips 3-5 times a year. Because we are so remote we wanted to know pros and cons between auto and manual. We have manual hiluxes already and 80 series. The car to be used mainly for our Cairns trips for supplies. Biggest thing we want for our next purchase is reliability and comfort. Thanks in advance.

There was a parts store just opposite our Toyota garage and sometimes they would go over to that store to get some parts and put it in the Toyota box.

i use any filter from store cause i change my oil every 1-2k kms. Anyone who waits 10-15k is a donkey.

I work at Toyota as a mechanic. The D2 oil filters are not made in Japan, they are made in Thailand.

Ryco claim that filters are equal or exceed manufacturers specifications. Used them since the mid 90s, never had a problem with them.
