Lao-Ti Winds ft. Biswajit Ray | Chapter 1

Biswajit Ray, a political figure from the Koch-Rajbongshi community of Assam, is well known for his advocacy of ST status for his community and the creation of a homeland based on the historic Kamtapur state. He led the student organization AKRSU and rose to prominence in the early 2000s through his rhetoric on the Kamtapur issue and as a critic of the complexities of the Bodoland movement. Later, he affiliated with other political organizations, but he remains a vocal supporter of Kamtapur and issues affecting his community. This interview offers an introspective reflection on his political journey from a deeply personal perspective.
