I bought small pescado tacos from street vendors in La Paz in 1984 when we knew people that got sick eating at the fancy restaurants.
They had 10 versions of salsa, pico & king of a chopped cabbage Sasa. Great food great memories.
Back then there were no American food chains and you couldn't get milk or cheese, except for goat cheese.
