I like the blue shell, I just wish it didn’t make you tuck into the shell any time you run. It would be better if you had to press down while running to activate it.

I like that when holding a beach koopa shell in Super Mario 3D World, you have full control and can enter a shell slide anytime with the crouch button. The blue shell just paved the way for that concept in my opinion.

Mario Vs. Luigi is still such a fun time, I still play it with my friends from time to time and we all still have a blast these years later

Who do you think I am? Of course, I know this guy exist because I’ve spent countless hours playing Mario VS Luigi on original hardware back in the days and now on PC thanks to the online fan recreation. And I always go get that blue shell because to this day, it is still one of, if not my favorite Mario power-up of all times.

i always liked using the blue shell but the only thing that would annoy me about it is that you couldn’t swap it out for a fire flower and the only way to get rid of it was to take a hit

Actually the blue Koopa was appeared in Super Mario World (1990). However in New Super Mario Bros. if you stomp blue Koopa, you will be Blueshell Mario/Luigi.

Fun Fact: Blue Koopas are also in the coding for the Mario Galaxy games as a parameter of the Koopa Troopa enemy, though unlike Red Koopas (which go unused in Galaxy 2 but are still fully functional) they're kinda broken behavior-wise.
