Bacon brussel sprouts 🌱
Double the recipe if you have more people to serve, but this would serve 3/4 people depending on how much you love them & pile on your plate, my family even the toddler and teens love these so i had to make a huge tray full😂
Ingredients:
Brussel sprouts about 4cups/handfuls
1 pack of smoked bacon (200g)
Coconut sugar ¼ cup
2garlic cloves
Chilli flakes
Salt & pepper
Half lemon juice
1Tbsp lemon zest
Olive oil for cooking
Method
Wash peel and half sprouts, boil for 2mins in salted water.
Drain, then prepare a hot pan with olive oil, garlic and chilli flakes, add chopped bacon, salt and pepper! Then fry bacon off untill all the liquid/fat has evaporated, add sprouts to pan, season with salt pepper and chilli flakes.
Mix, add coconut sugar juice then zest of lemon, mix in,add salt pepper chilli flakes and fry for 2mins then your done!
To reheat on the day you can pop in over on tray or air fry, microwave til hot or fry them up in the pan again. Totally up to you 🎄🥰❤️
