Dreams are sometimes what tortures me. It will bring alive all the emotions that you try to suppress. Beauty and pain- subconscious will bring it all forward. You wake up and have to sort through the emotions all over again.

This made me think of the dreams I used to have of my Dad after he passed away. I would be so happy in my dreams, only to wake up with the realization that he was gone. It was such a horrible feeling, that after awhile I hated going to sleep because I knew that utter emptiness awaited me on the other side of it. This song brought me to tears.
