I always thought it was easier to work for someone when I knew what they expected of me. Right now I can't keep help, myself. They come out wanting to work during the spring or fall. They quit as soon as you tell them that it doesn't matter if it's 12 degrees outside or 112 we have work to do. That first really hot or really cold day, they don't come back the next day

I worked flat rate at a body shop you got paid for what you turned and if it wasn’t right you made it right for free you was paid to do it right! Different times yes but something should not change I miss the times of the past so you know I am 65 this shit has to stop

When I was doin concrete I worked with guys that would always say "I wanna go home" and then take off as soon as we got back to the yard instead of stayin and finishin out their 8 hours and then on they'd be cryin "I need a raise" with 35 hours on their checks while I would be smilin with 42 or more hours on my check
