A Japanese thing? Yikes. No, OLED is a higher price point thing. This J1 is $199 and it’s loaded with technology, functionality and FXs. The LCD text is large and easy to see.

Every time I hear and see these small beat machines, I’m getting impressed and so close to push the buy button. But the ridiculous old style and kind of nerdy display. Turns a possible buy - To a definitely No Buy.
Seriously, here in 2023, a better display, cannot possibly make a the price tag, so much higher.
Why so finicky???
Guess it’s a Japanese thing, to make it - so Not user friendly.
Give us a OLED display..

I have one and a truly impressive piece of gear - easy to get quick, beautiful results but also layers of depth to really produce something special. A 10/10 bit of kit
