Need a better way to breach locked doors?
While the wood axe and fire axe may come to mind
Don't count out the meat cleaver
Its low weight and relatively high damage vs doors
Makes it an ideal tool for destroying them.
You'll also expend less energy than with either axe.
For breaching doors easier, consider the meat cleaver!

Do you prefer to destroy or dismantle locked doors in Project Zomboid?

If you run mods, I highly suggest the Common Sense mod. It allows you to use a crowbar to pry open regular doors, garage doors, and even car doors! Be wary that prying something open requires a bit of endurance.
