Filipino restaurants have been lacking in Chicago city center so it's so cool to see something open close by only 4 months ago!

1️⃣They have a super cute spot, open for Filipino food at night. They share this space with her friends , serving soul food in the day.

Pinoy soul serves Filipino food Wednesday to Sundays 4:30-9:30pm

2️⃣She lives an hour away and needs to commute home. This is literally HER DREAM to open up a Filipino restaurant. It's been a DREAM COME TRUE for Amy to share this with Ruby, Larry, & Tobi (their son) from Sun Rey Cafe ☀️

3️⃣Because everything is made by Amy and she is short staffed service will be a little slow. This is because they just opened and they are really trying to make sure the new items are what you like!

So please be gentle 🥹

4️⃣there were neighbor Filipino families coming in and it was really cute to see! Everyone speaking Tagalog ❤️

5️⃣everything was so fun to eat, especially because I've been craving both the mango peach pie and the spaghetti for a while. Brought back good memories when I had Jollibee in Hong Kong

Absolutely awesome to have them on their menu!

After I shared the spaghetti in another reel they sold out!
