The first thing i did in E.R on day one was mix it up and use a bow much more and it was actually viable, even more so with short bows and dodge and jump attacks.

The sad thing is that's close to maximum possible holy damage with a bow weapon.
A holy pot can four shot that creature which already has massive weakness to holy.

Golden land lets you take advantage of these buffs too, and with carian filigree you can really spam it for almost nothing

In some cases, it may not be necessary. Bait it up top of those cliffs and it would foolishly jump down and damage itself.
