-It’s simple: believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
That’s it! “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son (Jesus), that whoever BELIEVES in Him will not perish but will have eternal life.” (John 3:16).
We have all sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23) and are deserving of wrath (Romans 6:23), but out of His love for us, God sent His son Jesus to be our Savior! Jesus was fully God and became fully man. He lived the perfect life we couldn’t, and died the death on a cross that we deserved, becoming sin for us. Then He rose from the dead 3 days later to conquer sin, death, and hell once and for all.
Now we are saved by FAITH in Jesus because of what He has done. We are not saved by our own works; salvation is a free gift from our loving and gracious God! We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2).
Jesus is the only way to Heaven (John 14:6).
When you believe in Jesus, your relationship with God is restored and your future is secure in Heaven with Him! When you confess your sins, God will forgive you (1 John 1:9). You are filled with God’s Holy Spirit and have new identity as a child of God (Galatians 3:26)!
