I do this, too! I buy recycled plastic cups and reuse them, obviously. The area I live in has HORRIBLE hard water, the water I drink and make my ice cubes with is bottled (again, refilled when I run out, the 5 gallon jugs), and as I have no ice maker in my fridge/freezer, but plenty of room for my cups, I can have them queued up for morning coffee before work, just grab and go.
There's a bit of novelty to it, too, it always makes me think of the asmr videos people make of their Asian 7-11 orders lmao
