I wanted to share with you a dress I remade. The client bought the white dress, but wanted back netting and lace over top. Dress was completely pulled apart to insert netting into the seams.

She requested a scalloped lace train and had me scallop the existing white dress train also. She also wanted side cut outs and a deep keyhole back.

The original dress had shoulders and a full fabric back.
She wanted the shoulder and back to be sheer with lace. And she wanted a full long sleeve of sheer and lace.

I put a black transparent zipper in the back because she wanted a snug fit. Button loop would have stretched out. I added the buttons onto the zipper and it looked amazing.

The client was so delighted with her creation. She was great to collaborate with and the lace was absolutely divine. It was a real treat to help her bring her detailed sketches to life.

I had my doubts about the white dress under the black netting, But the contrast really showcased the gorgeous lace and the buttons going down her back and clear to the end of the train.
