Yup, and you can't remote start it if you have your hood up but if it's running and you pop open your hood the screen tells you and you have to press "ok"

I didn’t know it did that on the handle style shifter .. I know it does it on my expedition but I have digital style knob.. that’s crazy to see though

What happen when its a shifter and push button?

It’s the most annoying shit ever. Not that you really need to leave your truck in gear while getting out, that part makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is for it to self park any time the door is open while it’s in gear. For example, checking to see how centered you are in a parking space, or just spitting something out while at a stop light. Luckily you don’t have to turn it off to start moving again but there is some lag to get it to release after accelerating.

Old 70’s fords did this. Only problem was it went into neutral or drive and took off. You made sure you had your running shoes on to chase it.
