I seriously would not have thought it was even possible to turn a rubik's cube that fast without damaging it.

‘Slower than most people’s attention span’ 💀

The best human is only 10x slower? That's awesome

Impressive. But surprised the cube didn't jam.

I'm more impressed that physics even allow this without the cube ripping itself apart

Props to the manufacturer of those for the quality to prevent them from disintegrating in the process.

The fact that it's only ten times faster than a human shows how amazing people are at this. Like, a machine can pretty much do anything else more than ten times better.

The big difference is the accuracy of the stops. The faster a turn is fully complete and has stopped rotating, the faster you can move the next side

Finally! A device to help me with the hundreds of unsolved rubics cubes laying around my cramped and squalid apartment. Technology is amazing!!😮

Also amazing is the cubes themselves are so well made that they don’t fall apart when there’s so many rotations in 3 dimensions in such a short time.

How the plastic cube survive that fast movements is more amazing to me…

Whatever lubricant is used in that particular Rubik's cube, I need that!

We are approaching the limits of what the off-the-shelf cube can physically handle.

I always resorted to peeling stickers and replacing them where they should have gone.

The cube is the real hero here!
Damn, how do they survive this brutal force?

9 milliseconds damn that is fast just to mention that a typical monitor (60Hz) is ~16.7 milliseconds, meaning it does a 90 degree turn in less time it takes to draw one frame on the monitor. Insane!

To be honest im way way way more impressed with the dude doing 3 seconds than the robot doing it in a blink of an eye like who cares that's what robots do the human doing it in 3 seconds tho is absolute mind boggling

These cubes must be built much better nowadays because back in the 80's they were prone to break if you turned it and put a little force because it jammed. They would always get stuck.
