Fellow artist here! Another tip I would include is to add some highlights on the upper and lower lids and brows, as they help tie those areas together while also bringing them forward to help them not look sunken in if there's a lot of shading. Generally I highlight more towards the middle and inner corners of the lids and in the bushier areas of the brows. I've recently loved using this technique since it gives the eyes more depth and a more dreamy feel to them. :D
