i see kevin has already lost touch with reality, this is haphazard advice. Most people don't make enough to put aside half, mr. big business mogul kevin. I got a 7 figure windfall a few months back, but I realize that I'm very lucky and most americans can barely afford rent so they're not in any position to save.

This is how I've always viewed money, and wish more people did too. I wish people would stop demonizing the idea of paying taxes, and that the government would spend the money properly. Not sending it to genocidal countries, using it on corporate bailouts, and using a quarter of it on the military.
