UPDATE: The Ford dealer said one of the batteries failed and needs replaced (this is covered under warranty) However, not sure on timing to get the new battery. They said at least 2 weeks but I think it will likely be longer . I did get a F-150 FX4 demo to drive in the meantime.

Invest a few bucks in an OBD port reader, pull the DTCs, and give the info to your dealer. Most likely scenario is a software hiccup, and your dealer will likely clear DTC codes, confirm that they donât reappear, and tell you to come pick up your truck.

How long did you have to wait for the repair? I just dropped mine off to the dealership this MondayâŚwaiting to hear from them on ETA

This happened to me. Took almost a week to get a new battery installed.

Any update on this. Mine did the same thing about a week and a half ago. My local dealer isnât high voltage certified so they just sent it to another dealership. Going to follow up with them today.

Slave to the stealership. This is why I drive old shit I can diagnose and fix. Got a quarter mil miles on my ram. The line for me seems to be when they started including touchscreens in cars. I want the benefits of electronic fuel injection and closed loop fuel trims but NONE of this app/gps/onstar/âfor your safetyâ remote shutdowns.
Itâs really crazy that EVs are mechanically simpler than combustion engines yet the manufacturers have made them continually harder to service and repair outside of dealerships.

Just thank ford for having good battery monitoring systems to completely shut down sections of the battery pack if anomolies are detected to prevent cells from overheating and causing a fire!
