You can also pull the bolt release instead of down up and the shells in the tube will come out but you need to use your thumb and push on the shell up and they will all slide out

Not condemning him because he probably doesn’t have much time for such things. He should have familiarized himself with the gun before he went out for safety reasons and because of the potential scrutiny he would receive for not knowing what to do if something happened. With that said, this isn’t as bad as a well known VP that shot someone in the face 😂
