Johnny Depp on how Edward Scissorhands affected him & made him cry. He tells how he was cast as Edward & who was actual ly 1st chosen to play the role. Tom Hanks & Michael Jackson were considered & Tom Cruise Was actually 20th Century Fox's first choice until he wanted to change the entire movie. He wanted Edward to become human at the end of the movie & basically become Tom Cruise himself. π So thankfully Johnny Depp & Tim Burton met & became very close friends. The rest is history! Thank goodness he read the script!
