Those āweird crankbaitsā are designed for trolling and are still readily available at most tackle shops.
However, theyāre also excellent for slow retrieve casting. They have a great side to side action that mimics a wounded baitfish.

I have a few of those old tackle boxes, I have always loved fishing since I was like 3 or 4 and through out the years my grandparents on my dads side have gotten them for me at yard sales and if Iām honest I never liked them when I was younger. In my head I wanted new things. Now that Iām 21 Iām actually very happy that they did that for me cause some of the older lures can outcatch the new ones. Sorry for typing so much just cool to see vintage fishing tackleā¼ļø

The Kwikfish baits arenāt old. That chrome one is on the shelves today, picked one up last week @ bass pro. Itās a Trout lure used on bottom for big lake trout.

There are two openers because one is for bottles and the other is for cans because 50 years ago there were no easy open tops on cans.
