I am happy that this has changed! When I first reverted to Islam and was trying to find a husband I had gone to the mosque and asked the women about if they knew any brothers looking for marriage and most of them said no because the brothers would only be willing to marry someone from their race and culture. After many rejections I met a pashtoon family from Pakistan that welcomed me with open arms and married me to one of their sons and the father had preferred a revert as he knows how much they love Islam. I am happy to know it will be easier for other reverts moving forward Inshallah It feels very good to be welcomed into a Muslim family and be able to talk with them about Islam and spend Iftar and Eid with them. Alhamdulillah

I don't wanna be that person, but from experience, this is not was arab families say behind closed doors.
