One small thing I want to add. When the main tendril(fleet) of Tyranids arrive to a planet and have started converting Biomass into vats of well biomass, the Hivemind(Queen) severs the gene stealers connection to the hivemind. Meaning right before being boiled alive in acid, they realize that they have betrayed humanity.

Souls games, like most games made with the same basic premise, only have a few core gameplay differences between games. This isn’t a bad thing, most of the differences are theming and weapon selection, and there’s a lot of cool and different things you can do with those little differences.
CoD games are the same game every year with different weapons, different maps, and higher res graphics. Theo games made fundamental changes, and were relatively poorly received: advanced warfare with the exo system, and advance warfare with… a lot. AW didn’t bomb as bad as IW, but the CoD community doesn’t seem to receive system changes very well.
I haven’t played any soulsborne games, but what I’ve seen from them is the same basic system, with a ton of environment, equipment, and enemy changes. You hit thing, dodge when timed right, parry in the games that let you. The quality is great, because they don’t need to focus as much on core elements.
Bloodborne has a different core combat mechanic to mix up a similar but different core challenge, and(from what I’ve seen) Elden Ring gives a more accessible experience through an open world.
