I told my doctor that I'm more congested now and I think it's long term covid...he shrugged and said "could be anything"....I found another doc asap!

Vin, my doc also wants me on a statin because I have a CAC score of 69 and LDL of 171 (M 54, 6' and 185). I don't want to go on a drug but I am concerned with these numbers. I told him I want a follow up ApoB test so that we can understand the makeup of my small vs. large particles as a next step. I'm not asking for medical advice, but do you think I am on the right track here? Welcoming any other thoughts or suggestions...am I likely doomed to go on a statin to keep this in check?
