The attack lasts super long and if you die 1 frame after it activates, the whole damage cycle goes off..it would be broken if you didn't need a safe spot to use it.

This weapon absolutely destroyed Malenia with mimic tear all i had to do was get in sync with it and use the skill at the same time to take her entire healthbar while staggering her.
Also a great farming alternative to the elden beast sword.
