I just watched "The UnXplained with William Shatner" on the History Channel. They really masterfully edited the story, first they give real historical facts and consult real scientists, historians, etc. (u were there), and then they put some of their own theories and those quasi-researchers (from Ancient alians). That's why it seems as if it is scientifically confirmed or probable, when in fact they are just speculations and mostly made up šŸ˜’

As a pottery teacher and hobbyist, I'm pretty good at achieving symmetry with traditional tools. Peopl who's families have been in the pottery business for generations are far better than I'll ever be, and are like finely tuned machines themselves. Looking for alternative methods of production may be fun, but it's fantasy.

Yes they made part of the vase with CNC, and part with hand tools. Atlantis Proven!

Precision manufacturing is about making something to very closely match the specifications or plans for the item. Without the original specifications or plans for the product how can we assess the precision of manufacturing?

I don't understand how the F a vase would even prove anything? Precise relative to WHAT? For all I know whoever made that vase might've been unhappy it isn't the exact size and shape they wanted.

Whoever made it, please, ask a good potter to make a replica of that vase!

The outside was low quality until they polished it. The inside is proof of that. And the handles was hand made. No need to use a spinning machine.

The same tool made both the precise and imprecise parts. It is clear that the granite 3d printer they were using needed a software update partway through. Unfortunately there was a sand storm and the Great Pyramid antenna malfunctioned.

Most production guitars made in the past 30 years have been milled on CNC machines, but fitted and finished by hand.
Maybe thatā€™s what the vaseā€¦I mean componentā€¦ did.
Yeah, thatā€™s the ticket .

What's with the weird theme in Egypt though?
quartz granite vases are from first dynasties and the older the kingdom gets the worst work they produce with the Alabaster vases for instance?

Same with the Giza Pyramids, why does it go from the stepped, to Giza, to mud-bricks essentially?

You could at least tell us who you are referring to - so we could check what you are saying is correct.

I mean, is a potter's wheel a hand tool? More of a table tool, really. And clearly, a stool seat mounted on an axel and able to spin freely is far more advanced than a mere CNC machine!

Are they ever going to do two identical vases? For all the precision tools they apparently had, replication was weirdly not possible?

They also cannot explain the even lesser quality work of which there is many. Artifacts of the same stone type and found in similar context.

Most computers are built by hand using machine-made components.

Thatā€™s what Iā€™ve been saying the entire time. Half of these vases donā€™t even have ā€œhandlesā€ that are even and you can blatantly see with the naked eye. Wake up people

Thanks Dr. Miano. Those alt-fools entire hypothesis falls apart every time one applies some basic logic.

There are many examples of ancient manufaffuring where high precision accompanies work of lower quality. These are examples of alien attempts to teach Humans how to work this material. This would ultimately fail when they discovered that early man could neither work stone nor build their own machinery. Would you hang around a Human for thousands of years while he carved a rock or built a CNC Lathe ?
Our Alien Mommy will return and this time, she will teach us to make better vases and sandwiches.
