The bathroom thing is such a trigger. It’s so true on both sides. Each of you lying to the other and both of you know it but nobody admits it. Ugh I’m so glad I’m not there anymore. It’s exhausting.

Why I don't miss this at all! My husband and I went through active addiction together and we fully got cleaned together! We sit around and we laugh about all the stupid s*** that we used to do when we were doing drugs😂

Happy to say i got sober & I've been happily married for almost 30yrs now- to a wonderful man who supports me.

I knew of some of his hiding places, but I knew there was more. It made me so paranoid. My son was very young, and I was trying to be as responsible addict/mom I could while keeping my kid safe and still use. Years later, after we split and moved out of our place... OMG, I found soooo many empty containers/works stashed in crazy places.

I've been watching your videos for awhile now. This is exactly how my mom and step dad were. I didn't realize it as a kid. They would hide in the bathroom of a hotel room with my younger brother and I in the same room. My step dad would think that she was talking/hiding to someone in the vent. I just thought he was crazy. Wasn't til I was older and realized they were hiding drugs from each other. My mom says she is sober. But only her and God know the truth.

Lol in active addiction right now. Me n her are an A team I swear. We make shit work. Holds me down in jail. Don't have to check her phone. I guess I'm lucky. Been together for 13 years. Lowest of lows highest of highs. Still have each other. We're suppose to go to the methadone clinic in 2 weeks. Waiting on insurance so its free.
