Heyo! I'm a birdwatcher, and I know about about this.
The biggest human-caused bird murder things (burderers, if you will) are cats and windows. The numbers vary dramatically by source since it's difficult to quantify, but in general:
Windows: about 1 billion. With a b.
Cats: Around 500 million.
Wind turbines: under a half a million.
There's a shred if truth to it, technically. Wind turbines kill a disproportionate number of native, migratory birds compared to the other two: windows and cats kill a ton of pigeons, starlings, and non-native sparrows, while since wind turbines are typically away from residential areas, they're more likely to kill the native birds that aren't human reliant.
Obviously, though, 50% of 500,00 is a lot less than 10% of 1,000,000,000.
Also, if you paint one of the three blades of a turbine black, it lowers bird mortality by like 80%.

It was never about the birds it all goes back to when an offshore wind farm was built near Trump’s golf course in Scotland and he thought it was ugly and decreased the property value. He tried to stop it but his neighbors supported the wind farm and he has been whining about it ever since.

The hilarious thing is that on a per gigawatt basis, coal power kills something like 50 times more birds than wind turbines. Housecats kill literally thousands of times more birds than wind.
