The chances of encountering a man that is dangerous in the woods is low compared to encountering a bear that prefers eating its prey alive.
Given the question some people think it insinuates that both a "man" and a "bear" are a dangerous entity which is why this is one of the dumbest questions
Not every "man" in the woods is a murdering rapist running around with a knife or a gun. Your chances of encountering a dangerous man is much higher if your in a dark allyway next to crack house hotel . In the woods men like to go hiking, hunting ,and go camping to get away from the boring mundane life of sitting on your ass all day.
But if you encounter a bear the chances of it being dangerous is much higher than some random guy.
But lets say the "man" you encounter is dangerous. Your chances of outrunning him are higher then outrunning a bear because the average person can't outrun an animal that is built for the enviroment they are in. But what if you follow the protocals of dealing with a bear like playing dead? Well what happens if you panic while trying to do so? You would be dead by the time it chewed off all your entrails. If you panic infront of a dangerous man the first instinct would be to turn and run the opposite direction and you still have a chance of getting out alive.
Overall this question is just dumb around

So as a teenage girl who is physically weak. I know I couldnât fight off a man or a bear. Hell I canât beat kids two years younger than me in arm wrestles. But I feel like if I survived a bear attack and told people. Theyâd understand, theyâd understand me never wanting to go in the woods again. It would be the bears fault. It wouldnât matter if I had food on me or whatever. The attack would be the bears fault. But when I came forward about what happened to me. It was my fault. For being provocative, for freezing up, for finally giving up and saying âjust do it and get it over with,â when I didnât want what happened to me. In school it was my fault for being a slut and a whore. It was my fault I wasnât good enough. Would anyone be upset with me for being attack by a bear?

No, death would NOT be quick, and death would NOT be the worst thing a bear could do to you.
There's an infamous story about a russian woman who went hiking with her stepdad in the woods. The bear attacked and maimed them both, and started eating her while she was still alive.
She literally had enough time to call her mom to beg for help at least 3 times because the pain was so bad.

Let's make a graph of potential outcomes:
Dangerous bear?: You are most likely dead
Dangerous man?: either a killer or an assaulter where you are in both situations more likely to survive than with the bear by defending yourself.
Peaceful bear?: You are now alone lost in the forest.
Peaceful man?: You have now a partner that can help you get out of there.
So what I'm getting from all this is that those saying bear don't have any survival instinct.

Bears never kill their prey fast. It's either rip your limbs apart or cut open your stomach then eats you while you're alive or if it's just protecting something then attacks you it will just rip you apart over and over again until you're unable to move.
If is see you and a bear in the woods, I'll just give you to the bear then and get away there fast.

There is nothing more terrifying to me than a bear attack. I canât imagine. I would NOT go into bear country without a male hiking companion and bear spray. I take every possible precaution in bear country and Iâm always thrilled to see other hikers nearby (more noise, fewer bears). 1 in 4 women have been harassed or attacked or the like, but by X out of how many men they come across in daily life? Come on now. Most guys are decent, good men, and many are fucking heroes.
