I am a United States Marine... ( we may take offense to being called a soldier are a rare breed) but this song Dax... thank you. Thank you Tom Macdonald... this is a great song... and you bring light to a fight we face... Men who never served even... but those of us who have, you have caught it here... so God bless you.

I read a comment from another poster, a soldier, he mentioned "the Suck"... snd if you have served combat units, Army, Marines, you know the Suck...

I just wanted to say keep rolling my brother... we need your voice,your music in our world, to speak for those that can't anymore... for those of us who fight every day due to a skull fracture and PTSD... and coming home. And being so ingrained to suck it up until things spiral after you've built a good company and a successful business, then one blackout, you lose every bit of all of your memory... you don't know what a word is, who or where you are... it comes back, by the grace of God in what seemed like hours, but in 3 minutes... and it hits like a shotgun blast to the side of the head, everything... who you are, where you live, why you have 3 vehicles, oh yeah, I own a company... so on so on... over the next 5 years you destroy everything you've built, you want to die but it is the one thing God has told you he will never forgive because you long for death ... you get rid of everything, your on the streets... for years you are there, because you are taught to " suck it up" and you are Hard... you are a marine... but you fall further and further, sleeping on the roadside, under bridges...

But by the grace of God, you are saved. You are finding your way back, getting the help they should have told you to seek if something hapoens, but when they are done with you, the government throws you out like antiquated equipment...

So, please keep fighting for those that are still out on the streets we need to bring home, and let them know, it's not your fault... and we need to get them help... we need to take them to it... not just say call... because calling the VA ( it's gotten better i guess...) But it isn't what these guys need... they need to be taken there... someone who cares about them and fights for them like we fought for this country.
