Not sure about going back to LCD, but LED technology (not OLED) today makes sense considering how close to OLED it can be these days.

Really hoping the step backward to LCD is a sacrifice for some kind of actual new feature. Folding screens, maybe?
I love my OLED and it would be really hard to justify a new purchase if it really were just a suped-up Swicth with a worse screen

They have a development but didn't say anything about backwards compatibility in the leaks? Strange as hell. It's like they are trying to hide it. It's still rumored to be an NVIDIA Tegra chip so it's going to, most likely, be compatible. Unless that leak's fake. If they go the 64 bit route like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally did then forget it

Back to LCD huh so its possible that these are moves to squeeze out fans pockets as much as they can. I see the LCD screen to go back down to 5" or 6" & then later on introduce a 7" screen bigger size screen.
Then we will see a Oled version followed by glass free 3D screen ability. They will surprise us with a upgraded Miiverse like app so that's what I see coming.

The thing i dislike about digital games is they retain their price whereas i could pick up a CD copy of whatever i want on my old gen consoles for 2$- 5$
