We had a simple and plain wall next to our stairway that needed to be updated. We decided to add a feature wall to give it a little more personality.
The project cost a little more than $100. With the addition of about one day of my time I was able to totally transform the living space stairwell into something much more attractive.
The special tools I used were a chop saw, nail gun and adjustable ladder.
DEWALT Miter Saw, Single Bevel, Compound, 10-Inch, 15-Amp (DWS713)
amzn.to/3XeC549 Ladder, A Frame 4 Step Ladder Extension, 14 FT Anti-Slip Multi Position & Storage Folding Ladder, 330 lbs Security Load Telescoping Aluminum Ladders for Stairs Home Indoor Outdoor Roof
amzn.to/3KEHBFy More simple tools like a saw and hammer will also get the job done.
I also used a Johnson Slope and Pitch Locator - you can find that on Amazon.
Johnson Level & Tool 750 Pitch & Slope Locator, Orange, 1 Level
