honestly the controlls work well but you can change them if you need!

I changed my keybinds almost right away. I use WASD to move around, left arrow for throw, down arrow for eating/grabbing, space to jump, tab for map, and esc for pause.

I'd love watching an entire playthrough of rain world. I love new players because the whole "reaching [ Insert Plot Point ] and [ ending ] in 6-7 cycles" thing gets old.

me personally i put movement for wasd and g-h for grab and throw and and k for map so all my fingers are in a resting position while i get slaughtered by scavengers because i acidently threw a spear at one of them

I would recommend using a controller. In this game it is a life upgrade and you can even start doing some crazy moves like the backflip

I think the first game I played with this control layout was Undertale. Since then I’ve played several games that have this same layout

I've never once used the default config for controls. It's god awful.

because of how often i play Celeste, (i jump with Z there), Z to jump and X to throw is already in my muscle memery even tho i have not yet played rain world (i want to buy it)

Try little fighter control scheme. Wasd for movement and jkl for throw, jump, pickup. It's much easier
