If you put a tiny little earpiece that goes in just one ear, so the user can hear the surroundings I think that would be pretty good for people who can’t see as well or are blind and don’t wanna carry around a walking stick

I trained for black out search and escape from a smoke-filled environment. This could have real-world application on firefighting and emergency response team gear, if it could be made to be light and easy to activate/deactivate. Probably already exists though. I have not paid attention to new gear in a long time.
