Why get rid of the SM7B? Way better sound than the Procaster... I have an NT1, good condenser, don't know about the 5th gen one.

You had $300 to buy this mic and you couldn't afford to buy a ticket to some country and make a surgery to fix your nose? It would improve your sound quality much more than any mic.

I’ve been looking at those procasters. I like the sound of the nt1 and don’t want to have to get a cloud lift rn. I was gonna get the 5th gen duh it’s newest and cheaper than 4th gen. But I found out for a reason. I guess everybody says 4th is better than 5th. Unless you need the usb for that 32 bit thing. I like the sm7b but everyone has it and it’s annoying. I will prob get nt1 4th. And it’s all black.

Just bought my N1 5th generation rode microphone and I would choose it over the podcasting microphone
