As far as I remember shield tech isn't really a think in Andromeda, so that would have given the Enterprise a decent advantage in the first round.

That was Seriously Amazing I Really like the Andromeda Ascendant it's definitely one of my favourite Sci-fi Starships. I've got all 5 seasons of Andromeda on dvd my favourite character is Rommie played by the Amazing & Beautiful Lexa Doig I really wish I had a model of the Andromeda and 40 Nova Bombs can destroy a Black Hole

Retro badger let's remember that nova bombs are anti star weapons but you should also remember set the original NCC 1701 Enterprise (Constitution ark Royal 2 refit ) had four Mark 6 Planet-killer missiles, as per Gene Roddenberry, I I should also like to know that the Andromeda ascendant has 80 fighter craft on board, and would be a match for the Battlestar Galactica either version

The only thing about this that is remotely tied to facts is that it only takes one Nova bomb to create basically a black hole, so that means only one would actually destroy the Enterprise J. No sim required.
