But I think Henry’s and Alice’s mum is Karen’s sister because Nancy got told about Hawkins when she was 19 Karen was 19 when her sister died. And maybe Vecna didn’t want to tell Karen. But this is what I think

Here’s my theory:
Alice was killed by Henry.
Years later,Brenner found a way to turn Nina into a Time Machine (one of Nina’s first prototypes)
Eleven traveled back to Alice.
She wanted to run,but she was empathetic,and didn’t want Alice to die that way. She revived her using her powers,and though they drained a lot of energy from El,she was OK because her powers were ripe and strong from the lab experiments.
Brenner decided to check in on Eleven because she had been back in time for a while. He went into the tank and saw Henry in a coma. He took him,thinking to give El a brother,only to get stuck in the past.
El and Alice ran and ran and eventually said goodbye.
Alice was so scared of getting hurt by Henry again that she decided to change her name to Karen Wheeler. (I’ll just say Wheeler cuz idk what her maiden name is)
She loved her life to what we know today.
However,when El got back from traveling,she still saw Dr.Brenner because somehow time had moved so fast for Brenner and so his whole story with Henry had finished when he went back in time.
El traveled three times afterwards to Alice/Karen afterwards. Once when she was twelve,once when she had been and fifteen,and once seventeen.
This is also why when El was with Mike,she pointed to Nancy’s photo.
We know from Will that when El points to a photo she knows the person or has a connection.
Because Nancy is Karen’s daughter,she looked almost just like how Karen used too.
She saw the resemblance,remembering her old friend.

I think proof it might have connected henry that her sister is alive which is Karen wheeler it might have answers on season 5 for family of creel and wheelers family
