The custom themes are one of my most favorite features of the Miyoo Mini; been hooked on the Onion Boy HD (Green) theme since I got my Game Boy Grey model and lost my mind when the Onion Boy DX theme came out and gave me that great Game Boy Color vibe!

This makes the Miyoo Mini look so much better. The regular themes makes it look like one of those bootleg consoles that are cheap and not worth it.

its probably the best mini device. everything else is more like a switch lite. this is the only true mini device for the pocket that doesnt look and feel shit

I have more handhelds than I care to admit, but of all things, it’s the miyoo mini that I play 95% of the time.
Onion os is a big part of that, but ultimately it’s just an awesome little emulator.

I'm currently using the Retroid Pocket 3 more, as my hands are just a bit too big for the Miyoo Mini. I do love the OG GB formfactor so I may look into the RG353V instead.

I love mine because it’s simple and most games I like use two buttons; however, I’m not good with computers and wish I could just pay him to install onion os but so far it doesn’t even seem necessary.

i wish i could afford to play with as many of these as you do. i would love to do reviews but i have no connections and i live below the poverty line. these things rule and i’d love to do reviews, but i don’t think i’ll ever be able to

It's a shame that you can't really CHANGE the look of the OS like you can with Emuelec and JELOS themes. Some will be "bar" shaped like Onion front end, some will be vertical, some will be grid, etc.

I wanted a miyoo but the screen (a lot like the anbernic rg280v) was just too tiny for me!

This makes me want to buy it more..just might. Which version should I get? I was thinking either version 1 or 2 since I really love that easy to replace battery.

Do all these different updates and themes for various handhelds require a PC? For a lot of us with Macs it would be helpful to know before buying which of these play nice with Mac OS for updates, rom management, or firmware updates. Just a thought.
