Stapling through strips of cereal box type cardboard is cheaper and even better.

Never had any problems with it coming off. Just use a decent mil. Plastic staple it around 10 inches or so apart never had a problem. That just looks like a lot of extra work and material for no reason. But if that’s your thing who am I too say
