Friendly reminder that smogon tiers only exist to indicate which mons are fobidden to use in lower tiers.
They don't forbid you to play whatever low rank mon you want in an OU team, and we've had that exact scenario happen quite a few times over the years for specific counters to popular threats, like the rise in use for unaware quagsire in OU and uber.
